So, after having other Green Grounded posts about getting a dozen unsolicited phonebooks last year (here and here), one phonebook of which is still lying in my trunk, I got an email from a very greenie colleague, NBC 17 Reporter Laura Barron, that Yellow Pages have gone green and you can register to STOP RECEIVING unsolicited phonebooks!

Don’t think you can throw that phonebook curbside!  It will NOT get picked up because the poor quality paper makes it impossible to recycle as new paper.

Recycle recycle recycle those old phonebooks.
Think about if we didn’t recycle them… I bet those alone could cover the landfill!
