Ashley Sue Allen is a North Carolina native, living in The Triangle since 1998. After a youth spent playing in the woods beside her house and camping in her father’s native West Virginia, Ashley moved to Raleigh and graduated from North Carolina State University.
Her life belief has been that living was meant to be a consistent action: your relationships and job should be reflections of who you are and what you believe. Consequently, environmentalism and sustainability have become the primary focus in all of her endeavors and adventures. And moving back to Western North Carolina is in her near future.
For now, she and her best friend and adventurer, Marc (GG Team), advocate trying new things, keeping an open mind, having lots of great multifaceted discussions with new friends, and sharing the idea that an environmentalist can live in the city and enjoy urban life while promoting local and organic ruralism and fresh change.
Largely, GG Team pushes to make a difference. And a difference can be made with one small step. Imagine if we each picked up one piece of trash when we went to a lake shoreline instead of adding to the mess. Therefore, what small step will you try today?
If you have any ideas or comments for Green Grounded, or any great topic suggestions for future blogs or vlogs, shoot an email to green [dot] grounded [at] gmail [dot] com. Ashley Sue is also always glad to sit over some coffee and make a new friend.

And until we meet again, live like a Rockstar… a greener Rockstar than you were yesterday.
And check out the NCGoGreen.com launch commercial NBC 17 produced. I was honored to be the face of their promo.
One last thing: I also think everyone should keep an updated Amazon Wishlist. You can learn a lot about someone’s personality by their extensive wishlist.
Sustainably yours ~ Ashley Sue
